Waiting Room for Users | Visual Expert
Overview
When all Visual Expert licenses are in use, new users are placed in a queue. The Waiting Room displays their real-time position, active sessions, and license availability.
The feature is available in both VE Desktop and VE Web and appears when a user attempts to open the application while no licenses are available.
When It Appears
- All concurrent licenses are currently in use.
- A user attempts to launch VE Desktop or access VE Web.
The user remains in the queue until a license becomes available.

Interface Elements
Queue Status
Displays the total number of users currently waiting and shows the user's relative position (for example, 1/2 in queue).
Current Position
Displays the user’s exact position in the queue. The value updates automatically when licenses are released.
Active Users List
Lists the users currently occupying licenses, including their platform details.
License Allocation Behavior
- Access is granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- When a user exits Visual Expert, the next user in the queue receives the license.
- The queue updates in real time.
