VE Web User Registration: Self Registration, Admin Approval & Auto Approval Guide
Complete guide covering self-registration, administrative approval, and auto-approval setup for Visual Expert Web. This documentation provides step-by-step instructions for both users and administrators.
User Self-Registration Process
Follow these steps to register as a new user on Visual Expert Web:
- Open the VE Web URL in your browser.
- Enter your email ID and click on [Continue].
- Enter your user details and click on [Registration].
- Once you click on Registration, you need to contact the user that has full access control or Visual Expert administrator to accept your request as a user.
- Once your administrator accepts your request (steps given below), enter your user details and click on [Login].
Tip: You can click on "Remember me" if you want seamless login going forward.
Administrator User Approval Process
If you're an administrator, follow these steps to approve new user registrations:
- Go to your Profile → Settings.
- Navigate to the User section.
- You will see the new user registration requests with options to approve or reject each user.
- Once you approve a user, you can grant access to specific projects or provide full access by expanding the user's section.
Note: Once the administrator approves a user request, the status will be updated accordingly and visible in the user management section.
Setting Up Auto-Approval for Users
Streamline the registration process by setting up automatic approval for trusted domains:
- Navigate to Settings → General section → Domain section.
- Add the domains to the default approval list. All users that register with an email based on these domains will be automatically approved.
Domain Examples:
- @novalys.net
- @novalys.fr
- @novalys.com
