Follow these steps to establish a secure connection to T-SQL Azure using Azure SQL Database MFA:
- Launch Visual Expert
- Open Visual Expert and click [New] in the ribbon menu to start the "Create Project" wizard.
- In the pop-up, select [Transact-SQL] for Azure connection setup.
- Select your SQL Server DB source
- On the SQL Server database connection page, click on [SQL Server Database] to access the authentication options.
- On the SQL Server database connection page, click on [SQL Server Database] to access the authentication options.
- Enable Azure MFA
- Select the [Azure MFA] radio button.
- Provide the required details for Microsoft Entra and SQL authentication.
- Provide Server Information
- Enter the server name and your user ID (email address). This is critical for Azure Active Directory T-SQL integration.

- Test the Connection
- Click [Test Connection] to verify the connection.
- Once the connection has been established, select a database from the drop-down menu for analysis.
- Finalize the Setup
- Click [Next] and follow the wizard to start analyzing the source code for the selected Azure SQL Database MFA project.
