As every year, many of you replied in 2007 to our wide survey of PowerBuilder
users.
The thousands of responses we received clearly demonstrate that PowerBuilder
projects are increasingly embracing Microsoft technology.

Further to its efforts to develop .NET, Microsoft has launched the 2005
version of Visual Studio.
Reactions are divided and most companies' choices are too. A worldwide
survey is currently looking into this;
What is the percentage of companies moving to Visual Studio 2005? Which .NET languages are used? and for what platform? What type of application is currently developed with .Net
November 2005: Novalys launch Visual Expert for PL/SQL
This new version of Visual Expert analyses PL/SQL code
Navigation in the application:
Consult the stored procedures, packages, PL/SQL blocs ... of your application.
Explore the source code in the source view: any reference found in the
code comes with an hyperlink to jump to the referenced code.

Global impact analysis: If you need to change some PL/SQL code,
a table or a column, Visual Expert can list all components related to

Visual Expert can list them to help you evaluate the consequences of
a change.

July 2004: Visual Basic Worldwide Survey First Results
If you read the trade press, you might think that everyone is migrating
to.NET.
But many projects still use VB5 or VB6!
What about you? Which language do you use? Do you consider migrating
to .NET? What is the general trend of today's VB projects?
To answer these questions, we are carrying out a survey on the use of
Visual Basic.
Close to 2000 people have already taken part in this survey.

The Sybase’s Beta version of PowerBuilder 10 is available.

A new release of Visual Expert was launched early November; amongst
